3 CSE professors named as "Most Cited Chinese Researchers" for the 4th consecutive year

3 CSE professors, CHEN Jiming, GE Zhiqiang, and WU Zhengguang, are among the China’s most influential researchers for the 4th consecutive year (2016-2019), according to the Elsevier 2019 Most Cited Chinese Researchers.

Elsevier announced its 2019 list On May 7, recognizing 2,163 scholars from 242 universities / research institutes / enterprises in China. The list uses Scopus database as the statistical source of research achievements -and standards developed by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy to analyze study influence. Scopus is the world's leading abstract and citation database curated by Elsevier, with more than 24,000 peer-reviewed journals (over 730 in mainland China) from more than 5,000 publishers worldwide, 9.8 million academic conference papers, 220,000 books and 44 million pieces of patent information from the world's five largest patent agencies. It covers disciplines of natural sciences, technology, engineering, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities, with the earliest records dating back to 1823.
