Prof. CHEN Jiming awarded Newton Advanced Fellowship

CSE Professor CHEN Jiming together with Professor Goran Strbac of Imperial College London have been awarded a Newton Fellowhship, with the project "Demand Side Response Management Research based on Information and Communication Technology in Smart Grid".

Newton Advanced Fellowships are offered by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), in partnership with the Royal Society and the Academy of Medical Sciences of UK, to provide established early to mid-career Chinese researchers with an opportunity to develop the research strengths and capabilities of their research group through training, collaboration and reciprocal visits with their partners in the UK. After a public call this year, the Chinese and the British sides received a total of 118 applications, and 25 applications were awarded finally based on the review of international experts.
