Abstract: Dr. Yongji Fu is Director of Innovation at Hill-Rom, a multi-billion global medical device company. He has over 10 years’ experience on wearable sensing for medical applications. Wearable sensing has become a popular research field to help chronic disease patients to manage their disease status and improve quality of life. In this talk, he will review technologies in sensor design, body area network and algorithm development. He will also give examples of using wearable sensing for Asthma/COPD, Diabetes and other chronic conditions.
报告人简介：Dr. Yongji Fu received his B.S. and M.S. degree from Tsinghua University and PhD degree from Oregon Health and Science University. Prior to joining Hill-Rom, he also worked at Becton Dickinson, Sharp Labs of America and Siemens medical solution. He is a IEEE senior member. In 2014, he received 40 under 40 leadership awards from Triangle Business Journal.
